Terms & conditions
To keep every treatment as pleasant and professional as possible, the following terms apply. By making an appointment, paying a deposit or receiving a treatment, the client agrees to these terms.
These terms are a translation of the Dutch original. In the event of any difference in interpretation, the Dutch version prevails.
1. Deposit
A deposit of 50% of the treatment price is required for every appointment. The appointment is confirmed once the deposit has been received.
2. Cancelling and rescheduling
An appointment can be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 48 hours before the start time.
If an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours, the 50% deposit is not refunded, whatever the reason, and is retained as a cancellation fee.
A new deposit is required when booking a new appointment.
3. No-show
If a client does not attend an appointment without notifying us in advance, this is treated as a no-show.
The deposit is not refunded. If no deposit was paid, 50% of the treatment price will be charged.
Following a no-show, Beauty by Boyin reserves the right not to schedule further appointments.
4. Arriving late
If a client is more than 15 minutes late, Beauty by Boyin reserves the right to cancel the appointment when the treatment can no longer be carried out within the available time. The 50% deposit is not refunded in that case.
In the case of repeated lateness, Beauty by Boyin reserves the right to refuse future appointments.
5. Refusing a treatment
Beauty by Boyin reserves the right to cancel an appointment before the treatment begins, or to refuse a client, in cases of inappropriate, disrespectful, intimidating or otherwise unwanted behaviour. The deposit is not refunded in this case.
6. Client responsibility
The client is responsible for providing complete and truthful information about their health, medication, allergies, pregnancy, skin conditions and previous treatments.
Beauty by Boyin is not responsible for problems or unwanted results arising from this information not being provided, or being provided incorrectly.
7. Preparation and aftercare
The client is responsible for following all preparation and aftercare instructions provided.
Beauty by Boyin is not responsible for a reduced, altered or prematurely faded result where the instructions provided have not been followed.
8. Results
Results vary from person to person and depend on factors including skin type, skin condition, natural hair growth, the healing process, hormones, medication use and aftercare.
No guarantee can therefore be given as to a specific result, colour, shape or longevity.
A result that does not fully match the client's personal preference or expectation does not automatically give a right to a refund where the treatment has been carried out carefully and in line with professional practice.
9. PMU
With permanent make-up, the healing process is part of the treatment. Colour and intensity can change during healing.
Where existing PMU from another specialist is present, the client must report this in advance and supply clear photographs for assessment. Beauty by Boyin reserves the right not to carry out a treatment where existing PMU proves unsuitable. In that case the deposit is not refunded.
10. Follow-up / touch-up
Where a follow-up or touch-up forms part of a treatment, the client is responsible for scheduling it in good time within the stated period.
The rates applicable at that time apply to a touch-up.
11. Payment
Payment is due immediately after the treatment, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Outstanding amounts must be settled promptly. Beauty by Boyin reserves the right to refuse future appointments where payments are outstanding.
12. Liability
Beauty by Boyin carries out treatments carefully and professionally. Beauty by Boyin is not responsible for damage or unwanted results arising from incorrect or incomplete information from the client, failure to follow aftercare instructions, or the client's own actions after the treatment.
13. Complaints
If a client is not satisfied with a treatment, this must be reported to Beauty by Boyin as soon as possible.
Beauty by Boyin must be given the opportunity to assess the result and, where reasonable and necessary, to offer an appropriate solution before a third party is involved.
A complaint does not automatically give a right to a refund.
14. Photo and video material
With the client's consent, before-and-after photographs and other images of treatments may be used for the portfolio, website and social media channels of Beauty by Boyin.
Giving consent for the use of images is entirely separate from receiving a treatment.
15. Agreement
By making an appointment, paying a deposit or receiving a treatment, the client declares that they agree to these terms and conditions.
