Powderbrows is a permanent makeup technique. Pigment is placed into the upper skin layer as thousands of tiny dots, which together form a soft gradient rather than hard hair strokes. The result reads like brow powder that never smudges and never washes off.

We start with a full consultation: mapping the shape to your face, choosing a pigment that suits your skin and hair, and agreeing the result together before a single needle is involved. A follow-up after 6 to 9 weeks perfects the colour.

One week before

• No waxing, threading or tinting
• Stop retinol and acid exfoliants around the brows

On the day

• No caffeine or alcohol — both increase bleeding and blur the result
• Eat something beforehand; the appointment is long

Healing, 10 to 14 days

• Keep the area dry for 7 days — no sauna, swimming or heavy sweating
• Do not pick or scratch the flaking; the pigment comes away with it
• No makeup on the brows until they are fully healed
• Stay out of direct sun and use SPF once healed — sun fades pigment fastest

The colour looks dark for the first few days and lightens by up to 40% as it heals. That is normal — judge the result only after the follow-up.
