PMU Lips

With PMU lips I place pigment into the upper skin layer of the lips. That gives more colour, a more even tone and a clearer lip line, without looking like you are wearing lipstick. The result fades gradually and does not wash off.

The three techniques

• Ombre — deeper at the edge, lighter towards the centre, for more depth and volume.
• Velvet — an even, full colour across the whole lip, slightly more saturated.
• Blush — the softest option, as if you have just put on a tinted balm.

All three cost €295. At the consultation we decide together which technique and colour suit you.

One week before

• Gently scrub your lips a few times and keep them well hydrated
• If you are prone to cold sores: start the antiviral course as agreed
• No retinol or acids around the mouth

On the day

• No caffeine or alcohol
• Eat something beforehand; the appointment is long

Healing, 7 to 10 days

• Your lips are swollen for the first few days and the colour looks bright — that settles
• Keep them covered with the balm I provide
• Do not pick at the flaking; the pigment comes away with it
• No spicy or acidic food, no straws, no kissing until everything has closed
• No sauna, swimming or intense exercise

The colour lightens considerably while healing and then partly returns. Judge the result only after the follow-up.
